HEALTH SCREENING IS AT THE CORE OF WHAT WE DO.
Since 2004 our nurses have provided health checks for more than 100,000 Irish construction workers at their own workplaces. Our Health Teams have visited thousands of workplaces throughout the country. The CWHT uses the most up to date portable diagnostic equipment. All of our test results are given to the worker on the spot. Every worker also receives a copy of our Good Health Booklet which gives an explanation of all test results.
During the one to one session with our occupational health nurse each worker receives the following tests:
BLOOD PRESSURE TEST.
FULL CHOLESTEROL SCREEN. (HDL, LDL, & TRIGLYCERIDE)
DIABETES TEST (HBA1C TEST NOT BLOOD SUGAR)
HEIGHT, WEIGHT, & BODY MASS INDEX.
HEART HEALTH ADVICE.
CANCER AWARENESS.
DIETARY ADVICE.
